The Fattoria dei Barbi in Montalcino is a special reality, always a guardian of tradition. It was the first winery to export Brunello to France and the United States, in 817 and 1962, or the first to vinify one of those red wines that would later be identified as “Super Tuscan”. The Fattoria dei Barbi extends for 306 hectares between Montalcino and Scansano for a production of Brunello di Montalcino which touches the 200,000 bottles. They produce a wine of unique complexity, elegance and longevity. The Brunello di Montalcino 2015, a balanced vintage that allowed the achievement of a perfect balance between sugars and acidity, it shows an intense and brilliant ruby red. On the taste-olfactory examination, it highlights hints of plum, pepper and aromatic herbs. It is a well-structured wine with well-integrated tannins.
