The Cantina Sociale of Castagnole Monferrato was born in 1954 on the initiative of more than two hundred winemakers in the country. It has established itself as one of the most qualified and significant associative realities of Monferrato, a territory famous for its ancient tradition and the excellent quality of the wines produced. During the harvest, a careful choice is made on the grapes combined with a vinification carried out batch by batch, depending on the quality and the vineyards of origin. The company production: Barbera d’Asti, Barbera del Monferrato, Grignolino d’Asti, Ruchè di Castagnole Monferrato. Ruchè di Castagnole Monferrato is a ruby red wine tending towards garnet. Intense floral notes on the nose, particularly rose and violet, spicy and old. The taste is very soft, warm.
